Keeping Up With Schoolwork

Missing School

Sometimes you might have to miss school because you aren't feeling well, have doctor visits, or need to go to the hospital. If you feel like you are falling behind and are worried about catching up, tell your parents and your teacher. They can work with you to find the best way to keep up in school.

Some schools have homebound programs for kids who need to be away from school for long periods of time. With the homebound program, a teacher visits you at home to keep you up to date with schoolwork and assignments. Ask your teacher if your school has this kind of program.
