Community Education Kit
The Girl Power! Community Education Kit highlights many types of messages
and materials to help individuals and organizations develop comprehensive,
skill-building programs to serve the needs of 9- to 14-year-old girls in
their community. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services
Administration's Center for Substance Abuse Prevention developed the kit,
which contains the following 11 components:

Welcome to Girl Power!
This booklet provides an overview of the Girl Power! program and includes information on the issues and challenges facing 9- to 14-year-old girls today.

Girl Power! Across the Country
This anthology describes statewide and community Girl Power! programs, which can be a one-time activity, an annual event, or an ongoing program.

How to Access and Activate Girl Power! in Your Community
This booklet helps youth-serving organizations, businesses, schools, and other community groups to determine how they can develop Girl Power! programs to nurture and support girls

Five Steps to Getting the Media to Cover Girl Power!
This booklet is designed to help local program coordinators develop positive working relationships with print and broadcast professionals.

Girl Power! Speaker's Guide
This booklet provides speakers with easy-to-use talking points. Parents, teachers, program coordinators, and other Girl Power! advocates may be invited to give presentations about Girl Power!

Girl Power! How To Get It
This activity guide is for 9- to 11-year-old girls. Such topics as positive self-image, physical fitness, good nutrition, and communication are accompanied by fun exercises to help young girls strengthen their Girl Power! and build the skills they need to realize their full potential.

Girl Power! Keep It Going
This activity guide is for 12- to 14-year-old girls. Filled with fun activities and useful information, it is designed to help older girls develop skills in problem solving, critical thinking, communication, and resistance to peer pressure

Girl Power! Certificate for Girls (pink border)
This certificate is for recognizing the achievements of girls.

Girl Power! Certificate for Adults Who Care (black border)
This certificate is for recognizing anyone with the Power! to support girls with Girl Power!

Girl Power! Have You Got It? Message Card
This postcard can be used as a mini-Girl Power! poster. The reverse side contains a brief description of the campaign and a place to write a personal note.
